Office365 Exchange EngineerKeyResponsibilities:
•
Focusing on operations and technical support of Office365 Exchange
•
Individual in this role areaccountable for designing and driving operability into the Office 365SharePoint platform, leading “run-it” execution in our operationalsilos(incident management, Tier 1&2 customer support, platform deployment,platform build-out), and leading service restoration during a crisis. Thesuccessful candidate will be able to demonstrate breadth and depth managingcomplex, highly available, and scalable services.
Responsibilities:
•
Ensure Exchange platformoperability
•
Oversight and accountability forperformance in incident management, software deployment, and customer supportoperational silos in a 24X7X365 environment
•
Cut minutes off outages. Manage technicalresponse during critical incidents (Incident Commander)
•
POC for key internal and externalpartners
•
Develop and maintain operationalplaybooks that guide engineering teams' day to day activities
•
Drive continuous improvement intothe product, process, and technology through gap analysis and solution design.
RequiredSkills:
•
Strong working/support knowledgein applications written under VS.Net environment, using C#/C++,/VB .Net,ASP.NET/MVC, SOAP Web Services, Experience with WCF , caching and service busis a plus. Familiarity with Linux, JAVA, Eclipse, Python, Apache, Perl is aplus.
•
Strong understanding of ActiveDirectory, XML, PKI, TCP/IP,IIS and SQL. Scripting/automating experience (WCF,Powershell, etc)
•
Expertise with Exchange Server
•
Strong Debugging skills is a must.
•
Strong interpersonal skills,written and oral communication as well as strong technical documentation skillsare required.
•
Operations Experience in a 24 x 7x 365 enterprise environment
•
Demonstrated strategic thinking,quantitative and analytical skills, team leadership, and collaboration
•
Excellent problem resolution,judgment, negotiating and decision making skills
•
Detail and results oriented with agood balance of passion for technology and eagerness to accept ownership andaccountability.
•
Must effectively manage andprioritize multiple tasks in accordance with high level objectives/projects.
•
5+ years of experience managingsoftware development in a complex, high availability environment
•
BS/BA in Computer Science, math,telecommunications, or equivalent education or experience
•
English Level 6 and above
